As official Lucasfilm licensee since 2005, ID-WALL has continued to develop the unique Star Wars classic saga canvas print collection. Featuring limited and open edition canvas prints, each hand-crafted piece is manufactured to order in UK with painstaking attention to detail and issued with a Certificate of Authenticity.
Stormtrooper training stressed complete indoctrination in the tenets of the New Order, and individuals would obey their officers without question, without regard to the rights of others or even to their own safety.
Stormtroopers abandoned individuality in exchange for their loyalty. They are completely encased in a white armored spacesuit shell, and are armed with blaster pistols or blaster rifles. Their helmets contain comlinks for long-range communications. Officers were denoted with colored shoulder pauldrons. Specific environments called for specially trained and equipped stormtroopers, such as the snowtroopers that besieged the ice world of Hoth and the lightly-armored scout troopers that patrolled the forests of Endor. Death Star : Last few remaining limited edition canvas prints

The Death Star was the code name of an unspeakably powerful and horrific weapon developed by the Empire. The immense space station carried a weapon capable of destroying entire planets. The Death Star was to be an instrument of terror, meant to cow treasonous worlds with the threat of annihilation. While the massive station is evidence of the evil that was the Galactic Empire, it was also proof of the New Order’s greatest weakness — the belief that technology and terror were superior to the will of oppressed beings fighting for freedom.
The Death Star was a battle station the size of a small moon. It had a formidable array of turbolasers and tractor beam projectors, giving it the firepower of greater than half the Imperial starfleet. Within its cavernous interior were legions of Imperial troops and fightercraft, as well as all manner of detention blocks and interrogation cells. The Death Star was spherical, and dark gray in color. Located on the Death Star’s northern hemisphere was a concave disk housing the station’s main laser weapon. (Source : www.starwars.com )

“We’re trying to push the envelope even further in the second season,” promised George Lucas in a press release. “In the features, I focused on telling the story of the Skywalker family. With The Clone Wars, I’m exploring far beyond that and we barely scratched the surface in the first season. It’s exciting to be able to take people to all these new places in the Star Wars galaxy.”” – Source : Wired.com http://blog.wired.com/underwire/2009/02/cartoon-network.html

Sue Howells – Best Selling Artist
ID-WALL is pleased to announce the new Sue Howells gallery :
http://www.id-wall.com/brands/58/0/1/sue-howells-prints
Fine Art Trade Guild award winning best selling published artist 2008 is testament to Sue’s ever increasing popularity.
She is a self-trained artist now working full-time as a painter. Known for her interpretation of landscapes and buildings she has developed a bold and vivid style to express her view of the world and bring perspective to her painting. She works mainly in watercolours but loves to experiment with other media.
She continues to broaden her range of subjects, maintaining her energy and colours by using an economy of brush strokes. Sue works as loosely as possible as watercolours can be controlled but never bullied.
The colours she uses take on a wide range of hues when she adds light and dark, giving a translucent quality coupled with brush texture and an ability to use contrasting colour to very good effect.
“Nothing in my pictures is real. Everything is off-kilter, which generates an energy that seems to appeal. The more I exaggerate my figures, the more popular the are. People can see what they want to see if pictures aren’t literal.”

Sylvia’s gorgeously creepy paintings are brimming with a mixture of sexual provocation and consternation.

Sylvia Ji was born in 1982 in San Francisco to artistic parents. Ji’s interest in art was implanted at a very young age when she would look through her mother’s sketchbooks and watch her father paint. In her art, she explores themes of beauty, sexual provocation, and social notions of femininity juxtaposed against the dystopian reality of modern cities to create highly charged paintings of women. Some of her paintings are symbolic reflections of herself, portraits of people she knows or just nameless faces set in a landscape of fleeting beauty. She graduated with distinction in 2005 from the Academy of Art University of San Francisco with a Bachelors in illustration and already had her first ambitious and successful solo show while still in her last year of school. Since then she has been in high demand, keeping continuously engaged in an onslought of numerous shows on the West Coast.

Fine Grime has arrived
The work of the Fine Grime artists both emerging and established, shares a common theme, it transcends traditional perceptions; and so we use the term “Cult Art” to better describe their work. Work that we believe to be culturally significant, and proud to champion.
