ID-WALL OFFER FANS A LITTLE PIECE OF THE GALAXY
IN LAUNCH OF STAR WARS EXHIBITION

Huddersfield based business ID-Wall is celebrating this week, following a successful exhibition officially launching the print range of images from George Lucas’ epic Star Wars saga.
The ID-WALL.com ‘STAR WARS FINE ART EXPO’ attracted interest from young and old alike and brought a pocket of Oxford Street to a standstill as fans clamoured to get a picture with Star Wars actor Dave Prowse, who played Darth Vader in the classic trilogy, and the UK Garrison of stormtroopers, who officially opened the exhibition.

Dave Prowse said: “It’s great that this exhibition is keeping the Star Wars legend fresh in our minds and the prints themselves look amazing. Star Wars fans and collectors are in for a real treat – and they can buy the prints online easily – if they are quick enough!”
The officially licensed, limited edition, prints depict various iconic scenes and characters from the greatest space fantasy franchise ever made.  Tim Bennett, ID-Wall MD, said: “The high quality prints have been designed and produced for Star Wars fans of all ages who want to feel the power of the Force in their own homes and celebrate the iconic moments of the movies.  They have been recognised as high-quality artworks in their own right.”
David Prowse, agreed: “The prints are fantastic and I’m sure they will be attractive to fans of all ages – and for the first time accessible to a more sophisticated audience.  Even my wife is happy to show off this memorabilia in our house, it really is a great collection.”

These supreme hand-crafted prints are digitally rendered on high quality canvas stretched over a deep (45mm) frame.  Each picture has been reproduced via an advanced printing process known as ‘Giclée’ which generates the image from digital scans and reproduces it using quality archival inks.
Available in various sizes, each print comes with a fully approved Certificate of Authenticity. The pieces are hand-numbered, ensuring and enhancing their collectability.
Tim Bennett said: “The official showcase at the Exposure Gallery was a great way for ID-wall to reach a wider audience in the Star Wars and winder retail community.  I am looking forward to bringing the exhibition home to Yorkshire in the New Year.”
With 2007 officially the epic saga’s 30th anniversary, Star Wars fever is beginning to take hold and a selection of prolific fans supported and attended the evening. A ‘Death Star’ print, signed by Dave Prowse, was auctioned for Children in Need and saw TV presenter Nick Knowles pipped-to-the-post by Yorkshireman Phil Dickinson, who paid ten times the value of the print for the worthy cause.
